This study presents the design and expected performance of a 10 cubic meter fixed-dome biodigester (fueled by cattle dung) for use in southeastern Nigeria, focusing on how temperature affects its output — a critical factor since these unheated, small-scale digesters are widely used in developing countries but are highly sensitive to ambient temperature.

This study assessed the groundwater potential and pollution vulnerability at Enugu State College of Education (Technical), which relies heavily on groundwater despite sitting on a relatively poor aquifer system for the region.

This study examined whether existing research data are enough to establish a link between gut microbiome imbalance (dysbiosis) and antibiotic-resistant urinary tract infections (UTIs) in Nigeria. This is an important gap because Nigerian UTI surveillance typically only tests the bacteria found in urine, ignoring the intestinal bacteria that may be feeding recurrent infections — a growing problem given rising drug resistance in the main UTI-causing bacteria (E. coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae).

This study examined whether minerals found in Enugu State could serve as low-cost, locally sourced materials for making zeolites — a type of adsorbent used to treat water. This matters because the state faces serious water pollution from acid mine drainage (from abandoned coal mines), industrial waste, and unregulated dumping, but remediation efforts have been limited by the high cost of imported adsorbents.
